The Przeciwziemia band, a Polish acoustic prog-rock group, was formed in Wroclaw (capital of Lower Silesia, PL) in 2011 by Bartek Sobieraj (vocal & acoustic guitar, saz, sitar) and Konrad Koscielski (drums, hapi drum), two friends that had worked on some other artistic projects before. Soon they invited two other musicians in order to complete the sound: Przemek Banaszek (keyboards, accordion), Tomek Jaskiewicz (bass guitar) and recently Dawid Pepkowski (electric guitar).

Their music is hardly describable. To grasp it quickly, Przeciwziemia is a mixture of acoustic rock with ethno, funk, grunge, jazz and who knows what else. Their debut EP Wlasciwosc (eng. The Property), released in 2011, was much appreciated by critics.

New EP Tatooed Head Woman, released in March 2013, contains - besides dynamic songs which are greatly received by listeners at the concerts – trip-song Covered by the Sun, visually represented by an auto-ironic music video which appers to be far beyond the obviousness. Music video created for the song was nominated in category "Artistic arrangement of space" of 22nd Festival of Polish Video Clips Yach Film 2013.

The band is known for its spontaneous concerts, full of experiments with instruments and jazz improvisations, each time they want to craete very unique performance.
